Geodesic Dome House with 166-ft of Lake Frontage

Views of the lake and mountains are spectacular from the large living room window and, in the evenings, moonlight washes through the gigantic hexagonal skylight in the vaulted (or domed) ceiling. The Lake Dome is nestled in the mountains of northeastern Washington along the shore of a serene, secluded lake and yet it is only a 45-minute drive to Spokane, Washington, the largest city in the region.

Note: During Hurrican Ivan's recent very destructive visit to Florida (Sept. 15, 2004), MSNBC reporters covering the event were housed securely in a privately owned geodesic dome in Pensacola (according to Keith Oberman, Countdown on MSNBC). The dome weathered the storm without a scratch.
